Firs is set in the Conservation Area
at the heart of Oxton Village, one
of the oldest and most distinguished
suburbs of Birkenhead, dating back
to the early 19th Century.
This prestigious
development of 9 apartments has been
designed in the style of an early
19th Century terrace. The frontage
only shows two entrance doors; the
others are situated at the rear of
the property.
As part of the Oxton Conservation
Area, this development was designed
within strict guidelines, consulting
closely with the Conservation Officer
at Wirral Borough Council, and also
with English Heritage.
There were no reclaimed materials
used in the construction of this project.
Modern materials were found to match,
compliment and improve on what might
have been used in the past, ensuring
that the highest specification can
be maintained. |
