This four-storey six-bedroomed house is situated in a residential suburb of Liverpool. Due to its size, the previous owners were unable to maintain it to its full character. Our client bought the property and asked us to convert it into 8 self contained apartments.

In the original house, floor levels varied even though they were on the same storey, therefore our first job was to redesign the rear of the property and build a new extension to make all storeys level.

Each apartment was designed with the maximum usable space whilel keeping the original external features of the property. The finished proposal gave us a 1 and a 2 bedroom apartment on each floor, giving us a total of 8 new apartments. Our proposal is to try and reduce the impact of the development on its surroundings.
