Sylvan
House is an existing nursing
home. Our brief was to design
an extension which would increase
the number of rooms, and also
to utilise the existing roof
space flats and convert them
into rooms, with dormers providing
head space and natural light.
This
four bedroom detached house
is located in prestigious Caldy
Road, Caldy. We were briefed
to make several alterations
to the property but mainly to
convert the existing garage
into a games room. Also we opened
up the existing kitchen and
utility to make a larger kitchen
area for the family to live
in.
The
barn lies in a quiet rural area
of Thornton Hough, set back
from the main road and has fantastic
views of the Wirral countryside.
The barn is to be converted
into a 3 Bedroomed property
with a rear ground floor extension.
The aim of the development is
to keep the natural feel of
the barn by the using the existing
exposed timber trusses and sandstone
walls
The
Wheatsheaf Inn in Raby has always
been a popular and historic
landmark within the Wirral.
With its thatched roof, it has
always been famously known as
‘The Thatch’. It
is set in The Green, in Raby,
surrounded by farmland.
